WWJD?

Ok, I have to sy that I WAS raised going to church every Sunday - Sunday school, youth group, went to Catholic school... the whole shebang so to speak, but now I'm what i like to call a 'holiday-er.' I get all dressed up and drag my 3 children to church for every holiday and the occasional "vacation Bible school." Only now I'm starting to re-think my plan. I feel like I've been hearing about a lot of miracles lately and I'm wondering what's really out there...
What religion is "the" religion? Did that dying girl really see her dead friend and fly away with him to heaven when she died hours later? Did Jesus really appear to that Mom and tell her he was going to take care of things? ... and than come back to take her little girl to heaven? I just don't know, but what I do know, deep down in my gut, is that there are things out there that we do not yet truly understand. The government is not the only "Big Brother" out there. So no matter your religious views - stop and reflect on your life, your actions.
As for me, I think I may just dig out my old "WWJD?" bracelet. I can use all the reminders i can get... and I may just start wearing a cross too! Maybe there's a reason vampires are all the rage these days...I'm just sayin... Do unto others, you never know who's watching!

More than I Can Chew?

As some of you already know I have decided to go back to school for a new teaching certificate. I know CrAzY! I have 3 children 8, 3 and almost 10 months and I'm working part time with special needs preschoolers. The first 7 weeks have gone well, but now that I've reached my first big paper I feel like I've been hit by a bus. The stress of trying to just get my chapters read was enough, but now that I actually have to read and write to prove my point and that I've been reading and understanding the material I'm feeling like I might not make it. It's like the kids have "Mom's busy" radar! Every time I sit down someone wants to talk, is hungry, wakes up, needs a change or butt wiping ( yes I'm still wiping her butt when she poos!)

I also have not yet won ANYTHING on my quest to feel like a winner and win something online. I have found a ton of great giveaway sites - check the buttons on the side of my page, I'll be adding more - but I guess alot of other people have found them too, cause they always win and I always loose :(

The newest cUtE site that's hosting a great giveaway is lilhipsters.blogspot.com they are giving away the cutest little owl pillow/stuffed friend that I have ever seen! So go on over and check it out! If you enter tell them I sent you :) Happy entering!

I'm still on that ERGO grind!

So, as some of you may know, I LUST after ERGO baby carriers and have become quite the giveaway junkie! LOL The carriers retail for $105 and up = I can't afford one :(
This year has been quite the transition for our family. My teaching job was hacked in half, due to some rearranging of the classrooms and my lack of seniority at the school. So although I'd love to run to the neighborhood boutique with money in hand and buy the latest most beautiful baby carrier I can find, the reality is it's not going to happen. I can hardly afford my car, the babysitter and preschool for the girls! What I'm really getting at is that I have found an ERGO baby carrier giveaway that doesn't end until the end of October :) I have entered and have all my fingers and toes crossed!!! Here's the link
